Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how SAM Platform uses cookies and similar technologies on samplatform.io and app.samplatform.io.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, and SDKs that help a website or application remember choices, keep sessions working, secure the service, or measure usage.

Marketing website

On samplatform.io, we use strictly necessary technologies to operate the website, process contact/demo forms, remember cookie choices, and protect the site from abuse.

We may use Google Analytics on the marketing website to understand page visits, traffic sources, device information, approximate location, and site performance. Google Analytics is loaded only after analytics consent has been accepted.

The marketing website stores the cookie preference in local storage under sam_cookie_consent so the banner does not need to ask again on every page view.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics as a website processor, not an application service subprocessor, to measure traffic and performance on samplatform.io. Its beacon loads before analytics consent and does not use cookies or local storage. It is separate from Google Analytics and Cloudflare DNS.

Application

On app.samplatform.io, essential technologies are required for authentication, session management, security, organization and Contract access, language and interface preferences, file uploads, and reliable operation of the application.

The application uses Supabase Auth for sign-in and session state, Railway and Neon for API and database operations, Supabase Storage for uploaded media, and Resend for transactional emails. These services may process technical information needed to keep the application working securely.

The application may use PostHog EU for product analytics, optional surveys, error tracking, and session replay where enabled. Sponsor user product analytics is optional and can be rejected in the Sponsor legal gate while continuing to use essential platform features. Google Analytics is not used in the application.

Essential technologies

Essential technologies are required to provide the site or application and do not require optional analytics consent. They may include authentication/session state, security controls, load and reliability metadata, form protection, language settings, consent records, and logs needed to prevent fraud or abuse.

Optional analytics

Optional analytics helps us understand product and website usage, improve workflows, diagnose failures, and prioritize product work. On the marketing website this currently means Google Analytics. In the application this currently means PostHog EU.

• Google Fonts: font stylesheets and files for the marketing website
• Cloudflare DNS: DNS management; Cloudflare proxy cookies are not expected while proxying is disabled. It provides authoritative DNS for samplatform.io and app.samplatform.io, separate from Cloudflare Web Analytics
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless marketing-site traffic and performance measurement before analytics consent; a website processor for samplatform.io, not an application service subprocessor

Managing preferences

On the marketing website, use the cookie banner to accept or reject Google Analytics cookies. The Manage cookies footer control withdraws analytics consent, deletes Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page so you can choose again. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and is not controlled by this choice.

In the application, Sponsor users choose optional product analytics in the Sponsor legal gate. If you need to change that choice later, contact info@samplatform.io until an in-app preference control is available.

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential technologies may prevent parts of the website or application from working.
